Brazil

Brazil is a big country. Peaceful, sunny and considered the land of soccer, ‘samba’, ‘caipirinha’ and ‘bossa nova’, it is one of the most exciting countries in the world. Being crossed by both Equator and Tropic of Capricorn, its visitors have a little bit of everything in a vast array of flora and fauna, natural environment, mountains, rivers, wetlands, wonderful beaches, huge metropolises and small towns, all within its borders.

Its unique characteristics ensure the country international fame and attract thousands of tourists from every part of the world, all year long. Diversity of culture and a specially beautiful scenery are the country’s strong points. But you will only learn of its distinctive feature when you meet Brazilian people. The mix of races and colors makes them a happy and fun loving people, yet strong, fighting and full of pride for their land. And their hospitable spirit is unequalled anywhere else in the world. Brazilians are known worldwide as open, talkative, friendly and easygoing people, very proud of their peaceful culture, their soccer team and their music.

Economy

One of the ten largest economies in the world, the country has a diversified middle-income economy with wide variations in development levels and mature manufacturing, mining and agriculture sectors. Technology and services also play an important role and are growing rapidly. A net exporter, the country undergone through free trade and privatization reforms in the 1990s.
